As I watch the Academy Awards I'm reminded of a wonderful film The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore.   This beautiful silent film won Best Animated Short Film in 2011.  The movie takes place in a magical library full of flying books.  I highly recommend it as it celebrates the important role books play in the lives of its characters.  Last year a book based on the film was created.
